Counselling & Educational Services, to Meet You, Where You Are At

Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, we offer counselling, coaching, and ADHD/autism-focused educational services.

At Aligned Paths, we offer counselling and educational services for people who are often underserved—or not fully met—by traditional systems.

Our counselling work supports adults with ADHD and autism, as well as racialized, queer, trans, and non-binary individuals, and those navigating complex or non-traditional experiences. We also specialize in men’s issues, offering a space for depth, accountability, and real change.

Our educational services are designed for children and adults with ADHD and autism (with a strong focus on adults), and include academic support, creative development, and homeschooling support. Our approach is flexible, individualized, and built to actually work with your mind—not against it.

We offer a limited number of free consultation spots each week.

Who We Are

In our counselling work, we support individuals who are ready to move beyond insight into meaningful, lasting change. If you’ve tried therapy before but found it didn’t lead to sustained results, we offer a different approach—one that is collaborative, solutions-oriented, personalized, and adaptive.

Our team of experienced clinicians takes a heart-led, evidence-based, and thoughtful approach to care, and is deeply committed to tailoring the process to each individual. We integrate solutions-based, somatic, and creative methods, while also focusing on systems and cognition—not just emotions—so we can work with how you actually think, function, and move through the world. We enjoy working with complexity, and bring creativity and flexibility into developing approaches that are aligned with you, your mind, and your needs.

We do not see ourselves as the authority on your life, but as guides alongside you. We work with you to clarify where you want to go, help map out the paths available to you—including options you may not yet be able to see—and support you in making informed, intentional decisions that are aligned with who you are and the life you want to build. We offer perspective, structure, and a steady compass—but you remain the one choosing your direction.

Through this process, we support you in becoming more clear, capable, and aligned with yourself, and in moving forward on a path that makes sense for you. As individual change deepens, it creates the conditions for broader, systemic change—supporting greater equity and more just ways of living, both in your own life and within the systems you move through.

In our educational work, we offer tutoring and structured support for children and adults with ADHD and/or autism, led by specialized educators trained and/or experienced in in neurodivergent learning. This includes academic support, creative development, and homeschooling guidance, all tailored to meet you where you are.

We are committed to helping people access the support they need at rates that are sustainable.

Early on, we noticed that many education platforms in BC charge between 50–80% of session fees. This directly inspired the creation of Aligned Paths Educational Services—to provide more accessible, fair, specialized, and high-quality educational support for children and adults with ADHD and autism.

At Aligned Paths, when you pay for a session, the majority of that investment goes directly to your educator. We keep our internal fee minimal, to cover operational costs and to support ongoing training and development for our team—ensuring you receive thoughtful, well-supported care.

Equity, accessibility, and fairness are central to how we operate. This means creating a model where services remain as accessible as possible, while also respecting the time, skill, and expertise of the people providing them.

Who We Work With

We provide accessible, solutions-focused, and client-centered support grounded in equity, justice, and inclusion.

Our clinicians reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. We believe it matters to work with people who understand your lived experience, and we prioritize creating space for connection, representation, and trust.

We work with queer and trans individuals, racialized and BIPOC communities, older adults, mixed-race individuals, neurodivergent people (including ADHD and autism), and those who have immigrated to Canada. We also specialize in supporting men, with a focus on depth, accountability, and meaningful growth.

We particularly enjoy working with individuals who have engaged in therapy before but have not found the results they were looking for. Many of our clients have worked with multiple therapists in the past and are looking for something that actually works. We also value working with clients who are engaged, curious, and motivated in their own growth.

At Aligned Paths, we are not here to sell therapy—we are here to support real, sustainable wellness. If we are not the right fit for you, we will tell you honestly. Many clients work with more than one clinician within our practice, depending on their needs and alignment with each provider’s expertise.

We value innovative, integrative approaches to care. Our work blends evidence-based therapy with creative and individualized interventions, allowing us to work effectively with complex and interconnected challenges.

In addition to traditional talk therapy, some clinicians offer psychedelic-informed and integration-based support, where appropriate and within legal and ethical frameworks. These services are offered following assessment and are designed to support safe, thoughtful, and meaningful therapeutic work.
